It has been nearly eight years since I initiated the search with the authorities in Grenoble... When I ask them where the dossier is at, they only answer: "Do you have any news on your end?"
Thus, aside from your mail of June 1, 1984, I obtained only one bit of news from the America!! (See the enclosed)
I would like to know what happened to Bernadette. She was born in Antony and I find it simply unbelievable that, wherever she may be in the world, that she simply disappeared into thin air and that she has no need for any official paper from your department... If by chance you know where she is, could you tell her I am looking for her and ask if she wishes or not to establish contact...
If the answer is no, I will not bother her... Thank you in advance... but I must know once and for all...
