Got some great pictures, mostly from the restaurant. That child is a born movie star. Even I take great pictures of her. Have had fun showing them around. Let me know if you would like any.
Marisa's total care mechanic put a new starter in my car Monday morning and I had a pleasant trip back Monday afternoon, getting back to Cambridge about 9:30.
Had a lovely dinner with Marisa Sunday night at a restaurant walkable from her house on a very mellow Montreal fall evening. Great vibes. Better than American cities.
Your mother was sending even more mixed signals than usual. No mention of her illness, even on the way back from the airport. Seemed to think that I happened to stop by on a visit to Marisa and was surprised I was only staying overnight before leaving. Strange how she insisted in talking in French at the restaurant even though she did 90% of the talking in the car nonstop and her English clearly doesn't hold her back a bit.
Enjoyed meeting your psychotherapist friend. Seems like a good friend indeed.
